VIVOSUN Water Gardens & Ponds The pump overheated and died after running 3 h in a row. Just kept vibrating. After half-an-hour it started to work again. It worked on-and-off for another day before it died for good. It may have had an excuse because the surrounding temperature was in 90ies.My review went from one to four stars mostly due to the excellent customer service. The lady literally persuaded me to accept the replacement (without the return), and one day later I had it in my mailbox. It would be hard for me not to trust this company.

Best VIVOSUN Water Gardens & Ponds Moves a lot of air. Its loud if you have the inlet open. I put a foot long lenth of tubing on the intake fitting and quieted it down without restricting air flow. Runs super quiet now.

VIVOSUN Water Gardens & Ponds Great air pump. After reading the reviews complaining about the heat generated by the air pump, I fine tuned the air pump. What worked for me was to add brackets to the base of the air pump. These brackets hold a floating fan just 3-4" below the air pump. The fan points at the air pump, and keeps it constantly 20-25°f cooler than its uncooled operating temperature of 105-115°f. I have 3 air pumps, all with fans and brackets, they all stay around 81-85°f. I hope this helps some other humans. Btw, if this review helps you sell some air pumps, I can use 2 more. Tyvm
