At first, when I saw how strong the plastic was, I thought I might not be able to trim part of the rim off, but using an original TG net pot as a guide, I cut two notches with my Dremel and a regular scissor did the rest! The only reason I did not give it 4 starts is because the company name is on the rim, and I'd prefer it wasn't. But it is not a big deal, they fit well in the tower and serve the purpose they are meant to. Much easier than cleaning used ones and the price is worth it!

The fit perfectly in the small PB2 peanut butter jars I am using for my Kratky hydroponic garden. They also fit nicely in the smaller jars I am using, like the smaller olive and jalapeno jars you get from the store. They will be reusable as the plastic is nice and thick. Exactly what I needed.UPDATE: First round of lettuce and tomatoes grown in these cups. They are fantastic. Roots go right through and the cups are sturdy enough we will be able to use them over and over. Very happy with these and will order again.

Cz Garden Supply Pots No one left the review that I needed to know -- the 2" size will fit a standard size mouth mason jar with the ring left on the jar mouth. Just put the ring on your jar and drop in the cup - it will hold up the cup perfectly. We have literally hundreds of standard mouth jars (we are avid canners) and are very limited in our availability of wide mouth. So we chose to use the standard mouth for doing our hydroponic jar set-up.
