Max Carter Gardening & Landscape Design At the point when my significant other said she needed to attempt hydroponics, I didn't have a thought what she was discussing. I thought it was another type of activity she's difficult in the rec center. She took a gander at me and inquired as to whether I was kidding. Along these lines, she got me this book with the goal that I would realize what it was. It was fascinating when I read it since it disclosed how to develop plants without the requirement for soil. Cool. The book examines the historical backdrop of hydroponics and its down to earth employments. It additionally contrasts it and soil planting and its sorts. The book additionally has a part on materials required and how to do it in addition to prescribed organic products, herbs, and vegetables. There are tips just as approaches to investigate on the off chance that issues emerge. By and large I thought that it was intensive particularly for a fledgling like me.

Best Max Carter Gardening & Landscape Design Great one , love this book. This guide contains everything you need to begin your venture into a fresh and healthy life of hydroponic plants. Check this one out and start a healthier life tomorrow.

Max Carter Gardening & Landscape Design Being completely honest here, up until very recently I was known as the person with a black thumb. I’d killed a cactus. Seriously. But I kept seeing friends who used hydroponics to grow their self-sustaining gardens and had incredible vegetables and I was intrigued. One of them recommended this book, “Hydroponics: A Beginner’s Guide to Building Your Own Hydroponic Garden” by Tom Gordon, and I am glad I listened. I haven’t seen the results of my budding garden yet, but I understand the science behind the system because Gordon explained it in an easy to understand, follow, and implement way. Since I live in Florida, I had to choose the system that works best for the harsh, often dry climate down here and it’s going to take a while to see the results, but now that I know what I’m doing, I know what to look for and I’m not afraid of my backyard. In fact, I’m enjoying the daily tending that I get to do.

πŸ‘MULTI-CHAMBER GROW TENT: This tent features 2-tier small tent and one large tent area. Individual room for propagation, vegetation and flowering stages that can keep your plant perpetual harvesting
πŸ‘Maximum yields :This allows extremely short harvests time by continuous growing new plant into the flowering chamber

VIVOSUN Indoor Gardening & Hydroponics I grow as a hobby. I was really looking forward to this tent as an upgrade from another company because vivosun was supposed to have a good reputation. The tent is fairly big, and if you don’t want to use the partition you get a 4x5 grow space with built in shelving.I got it all together & turned on my lights/fans. It was hard to zip It up because the zipper keeps getting stuck in diff places. That’s kind of annoying but not a dealbreaker. Next I wanted to see if it was light proof so I turned off the lights in the room and I instantly regretted my purchase. Thousands of tiny holes everywhere! It was enough to light up the room! All of the stitching had huge oversized holes. Light was pouring out of this thing from everywhere except the ports and amazingly the zippers That’s not ok if you’re trying to be discrete! So next I checked the opposite and went inside. The light from my room coming the through the stitching was enough for me to be able to see everything inside and even navigate around hitting my head on my light. It’s really disappointing, and I already got rid of my old setup so I’m stuck with this thing now. I’m going to tape up as much as I’ve can and hope it doesn’t affect my plants. It would be hard to return it anyway because I doubt anyone could ever get it back in the box without having to resort to cutting it to shreds.Next time I’ll spend a little more money and get something I don’t have to repair when it arrives. I’d steer clear of this brand.UPDATE: Vivosun reached out and refunded my entire cost directly without question. I am hoping that this quality control issue was isolated, or at least just a representation of their tents, because I have their 600hps kit coming in too.

Best VIVOSUN Indoor Gardening & Hydroponics Keep in mind I bought a bigger $40 cheaper tent before I bought this one. I have been happy with it. But a friend asked me to get them a tent. Due to their circumstances I thought this a better fit for them (even though more expensive and smaller). Allowing them to use less space while also having a clone and mother section. The entire ideal was something that would help to organize them better. In theory it was a good ideal... When I opened it and inventoried the parts I wondered why the silver tape, we will come back to that.First thing I noticed that I didn't like, the panels that cover the rectangle fresh air ports attach by Velcro (my other one has them stitched to the tent on one side, you can lift it up and use its Velcro to keep it in the open position) not a big deal but it seemed less than optimal to me. We rolled it out so we could put the frame together inside the bottom (not my first or second tent). I did like the metal connectors/corners but it just didn't feel as sturdy as other tents.Once we had the frame assembled we pulled the rest of the tent up and over the frame (got to love them zippers) once again it just didn't seem as sturdy as most of the tents I have worked with in the past.So we put the green rack down on the frame and as I pushed it into place the wire sides started popping lose from the rest of the wire rack. Not enough to justify sending it back but diffidently affected my impression of the tent. But it looked good. So we continued on.We put the spill trays down, ah I guess they were ok ish. Then we moved on to putting the divider in. I was none plused to say the least when I realized the divider was attached by Velcro and nothing else. Think about it, a somewhat heavy piece of canvas separating your cloning/mother plant section from your flowering section with nothing but Velcro to anchor it and prevent light from leaking in on your plants. I was very skeptical about the entire ideal but thinking, ok they have engineered this to work reliably, lets put it together and see what it looks like. About 40 minutes later after attempting to put it together several different ways to make it appear to be reliable I realized it was just poor engineering from the word go. That's when the cussing started and the tent got nicknamed Mickey's grow tent. There was no way to drape it across or behind any of the bars and the part that made me tell my friend "i'm going to trash this thing on amazon so no one else makes the mistake of buying it" was wen I realized the silver tape was so you could use it to cover the corners due to the fact there was no way to cleanly attach it to the tent without the poles being in the way. We had 5 other people who have experience with grow tents look at it and everyone of them came away with some variation of "that's just a piece of sh!!!T". We hung a small 315 watt light (with remote ballast) and the poles bowed. Raising and lowering it using the rope ratchets it looked scary and everyone agreed it would be best to support the cross poll with one hand when raising and lowering the light.Anyhow I told my friend "well someone else has made the mistake of buying one of these things, let me look on youtube and see how they got around this". I also apologized and told the person "I'm so sorry, give me a couple days and I will buy you a separate small cloning tent". The person offered to pay for it (the small cloning tent) and I was like "no no, you asked me to help you and I said I would but then I accidentally shot you in the foot, I'm so sorry". As I stood back I realized it didn't have any viewing ports. Some people may not want a viewing port so that's really just a preference thing but combined with all the rest of the tent it was like "what do you expect from Mickey's grow tent".I drove the 35 miles home, ate a sandwich then came here to warn others of my experience.Don't buy this tent, not even if you can get for 125, don't do it. To be honest at 160 plus tax I feel gouged. Its basically an 4x5 tent worth about $90 with a couple gimmicks thrown in that if used make it unsuitable for flowering. This is the first 2 in 1 grow tent I have messed with so maybe their all flawed like this (I would hope not) but in general I can say there are much better tents on Amazon and their cheaper.

VIVOSUN Indoor Gardening & Hydroponics Got this for an indoor grow for my 5 plants (we live in California) to have in an extra room but still be able to use it. Came boxed and packed very well, no issues and quality really had me smiling. My husband loved it, took him about 10 minutes to put together then started putting in the rest. As a first time indoor grow, i must say this tent has made it an absolute breeze to get up and start growing from seed to harvest and learn along the way. Definitely recommend this tent!

Richard Bray Richard Bray has written an excellent guide to growing hydroponic cannabis. He explains the entire process from obtaining seeds, to sprouting the seeds, to growing the plants with all the stages of growth to the harvest and curing of buds. The details he provides about the hydroponic aspects are comprehensive in easy to follow instructions complete with numerous illustrations. I really liked his explanation of the various types of marijuana and their characteristics or attributes. His writing is engaging, clear, and direct. This is an outstanding guide for anyone interested in growing cannabis. And, even if you are not in a position to grow your own plants, this book provides a very interesting look at what it takes to produce a good crop of high quality marijuana.

Best Richard Bray  "Hydroponic Marijuana: 3 Foolproof Ways to Grow Cannabis with Hydroponics (Urban Homesteading Book 5)" is an excellent resource on the mechanics of growing cannabis! This book would have applications for roof farming too.Growing cannabis is a new industry with a burgeoning growth in places like Colorado. This is a great book for helping people to grow cannabis at home or as a profitable business.

Richard Bray  As an old-timer (71) familiar with growing weed in dirt but with little knowledge of hydroponics, I found this book extremely useful. Lots of solid details and advice from an author who obviously loves his craft and has plenty of experience. Clearly written, I am recommending it especially to baby boomer seniors, who with the new move towards legalization across the country, need a way to grow their own high-quality weed without it costing a fortune. I am organizing the seniors around me to start our own hydro garden using this book, Thanks for the great guidance!

AeroGarden Indoor Gardening & Hydroponics You are suppose to call them for new pods if they don't grow. So I had tried numerous times to call. Usually the queue number was too large. I gave up! I had left them my call back number and no response from them. Today, my queue was 5. So I decided to wait it out. Three hours and 43 minutes later, I was queue #1. While I was waiting for someone to pick up, I had also wrote to customer support complaining about the wait time and my problem. So far, no one has responded. Of course, I hang up after close to 4 hours. It is to show what a bad business AeroGarden is!Yesterday, I wrote Homedepot an email. Immediately, someone wrote back.I was just trying to reach Aerogarden for some new pods that wasn't growing. I think they should find an outsource to answer their phone and email. Look like they will spend one hour answering one phone call. I wasted 4 hours of my time today!

Best AeroGarden Indoor Gardening & Hydroponics This is the first aerogarden I've purchased and I've had it for 2.5 weeks now. It came with a 6-pod herb kit and 5 out of the 6 pods have sprouted. The thyme did not sprout even though the sprouting period should have been a maximum of 14 days and it has now been 21. I contacted aerogarden about this but they told me that I have to wait a full 21 days before they will send me a replacement for the thyme. I will try to contact them again. It's been really fun watching the plants grow and sprout and it's very easy. The only thing I don't like is how bright the whole system is. I can't look directly at it or else it's very blinding. I had to put a dark bag over the whole thing to keep from blinding myself and my family. If it had some sort of light blocker I think that would be much better. I don't know how anyone can leave this on their work desk as a decorative piece because it's so bright. Otherwise I am very happy with my purchase and look forward to sampling the herbs in a few weeks.

AeroGarden Indoor Gardening & Hydroponics I have a black thumb which I think is important to add to this review. I planted everything photographed 1/3/19 and I took this photo this morning (2/5/19) it takes care of itself and they grow a little bit more each day. It's the most exciting part of my morning routine.. will my coffee brews I admire my plants! I used the basil and parsley from the packet that came with the kit. But I ordered my own seeds along with the "plant anything kit" to grow jalapeno + poblano peppers, Roma tomatoes and marijuana.

Tyler Baras Gardening & Landscape Design Just got this book and all I can say is IT'S ABOUT TIME a book like this came out! I got this book for a couple of new farmers who are starting a business on my property this year. This is the perfect book for them. It covers the most important & critical information without going into too much detail, which would easily triple the size of the book and make the most important information get lost. Full of photos, step by step instructions and clear and searchable table of contents, this is a reference guide I am happy to have on our little farm. Thanks Farmer Tyler for putting out the book I've been waiting for.

Best Tyler Baras Gardening & Landscape Design This book was a great starting point for someone with only a basic understanding of both gardening and hydroponics. It was helpful to decide the type of hydroponic system to start with and what I might expect to purchase to get started. I do wish it went a little more into the "once things are going" aspect of hydroponics, but regardless, I would purchase again.

Tyler Baras Gardening & Landscape Design This is a great book for anyone interested in hydroponics - beginners to advanced. It's an especially good book for those looking to build their own systems and grow their own food. The book provides step by step building instructions for several different types of hydroponic systems. Along with the instructions are plenty of helpful pictures. It also covers the basics of the nutrients you can use for such systems as well as relevant crop information.I've been a hydroponics enthusiast and small scale hydroponics gardener for the past decade or so and have read many books on the topic. To me, this book is a must have and arguably the best of it's kind - design, build, grow! I bought this book last winter and experimented with some systems right away. Got to enjoy fresh veggies all summer and most of the fall. I had great success with tomatoes, basil, kale, green peppers, and mint!
