G. Venter Gardening & Landscape Design First, the book is rife with grammatical errors, creating more work for the reader. It feels like it was written by 10 people all saying the same thing, over & over again so, it could be half, or a third of the size that it is. I'm not at all impressed by it.The photos in the book are a joke. Almost visually-inconceivable black & white photos, that look like a photo put into a B&W Xerox, copied at 40% contrast, shrunk down and then added to a page of text in the book. Half of them look like Rorschach tests.Worth skimming in most places, worth reading in others. Do you need this book in order to grow hydroponically? Certainly not. But if you are a book-addicted type of person, while at the used book store, pick one up at a used price [$5 would be a worthwhile price] and perhaps you can take some info from it to your indoor garden. Perhaps.Honestly, I've learned a lot more simply from talking to gardeners of their own hydro gardens.
