Struan K. Sutherland Gardening & Landscape Design I'll make this short and sweet. Buy this book and read it; you'll be inspired to investigate the world of hydroponics. The author's enthusiasm comes across and makes one want to start experimenting before the book is finished. The full color pictures tell a story all their own. You can see what it's all about. I never considered that there were so many types of hydroponic methods. Dr. Sutherland extensively covers various plants and their needs. He recommends certain vegetables as his favorites and why. The big three mediums seem to be: perlite, vermiculite and "growool". If there was a negative to the book it would only be that the author is in Australia, so most of the appendix is directed toward Australian and New Zealand suppliers. Thanks to the internet I don't think that is such a big deal. If you haven't guessed it by now, I enjoyed this book.

Thomas Thatcher It is a comprehensive guide that introduces me with beekeeping, advantages of beekeeping, beekeeper’s starting kit, taking it to the next level, extraction equipment, diseases and treatments, on the whole, everything needed to start beekeeping as a beginner. An expert can easily have it to use as a reference. All the topics are described here in this book based on science and the guideline has been provided here with necessary steps and effective strategies through a well planned way. I git this book as a manual and live guide to become a beekeeper.

Best Thomas Thatcher  Whoever slapped this half-a**ed highschool essay together must not have known what an editor was. The typos made reading the scarce information nearly impossible, and entire sentences lacked proper wording and were extremely difficult to decipher.Other than that, this 'book' (I don't think a few pages of enormous font counts as a book) touches on some topics that might be helpful, but goes into zero detail on the how or why of anything. Basically, reading this gave me a lot of topics to Google later. That is not what I want from a title that reads 'from beginner to expert'.Completely overpriced for what little it contains. Not worth the buy at all. Maybe if the 'author' had put just a little more thought and detail, it could have been a good little manual. But, as it is now, you're better off paying a little bit more for a book that goes more in-depth.

Thomas Thatcher  My interest in beekeeping made me purchased this book. There were so many information that were new to me. I got to understand better the bees, how they work and build their hives. Each bee has a specific role depending on its characteristics and nature. I am amazed at how smart, organized, and strong bees can be. They are magnificent creatures. The author is really good at explaining that.It is also good that there are recipes you can have out of beeswax included in this book. Reading this book made me realized that beekeeping is not easy. Beekeeping requires hard work but is very rewarding to you, the bees, and nature. Beekeeping can also be a business but we have to be sure that we do not take advantage so much of the bees in the process.This knowledge that I have about beekeeping that I learned from this book is more than enough for me to get started. I hope many people will be encouraged to take this as a hobby as it is not only beneficial to you but to nature and the bees. If you want to learn more about beekeeping, buy this book.

Greg Green A lot of work went into producing this book. Unfortunately, it is packed with tons of useless outdated info. Latest edition has no mention of CMH lights and their performance. Most of the advanced grow methods are obsolete, ie, SOG planting. Lots of random bud pictures but not many helpful, ie, few picts showing pests and deficiencies. Lots of plant history and jargon but nothing on grow strategies for favor and weight. Looks nice on the bookshelf where it will stay.

Best Greg Green  I got either the first or second edition from a friend of mine while I was recovering from a car accident. I got my card and grew two outdoor plants. They were pretty decent (Northern Lights clones I think) since I just made sure they were taken care of and didn't have pests. But other then that didn't do any advanced techniques. I remembered this book recently and wanted to re-educate myself. This 3rd edition popped up and I decided to upgrade.....one hell of an up grade! The one I had, I remember it being medium thickness...I got this thing and was blown away! Flipped through it and found it lives up to the name of bible. Quick start? Got it. Indoor? Got it. History? Got it. From A-Z on how to grow, and get the best results.

Greg Green  I was a bit skeptical when purchasing this book due to some of the more critical reviews, but in hindsight I'm glad I did. The book did have some layout issues that I noticed that were noted in some of the negative reviews, but they didn't make the book unreadable. This review might get a little lengthy, but I read this book from cover to cover and want to give it a fair assessment. This review is for the 3rd edition.Like most grow "bibles" on the market today, this book covers a ton of information. So much information in fact, that it can become contradictory when many different opinions on cultivation are introduced. Everyone does things a little bit different, so it's important to keep that in mind while reading this book. Completely green growers (pun intended) always want some kind of text that they can reference that has all the answers. In my opinion, such a text has never been compiled, and no amount of reading will really replace real experience and garden time.Most of the info in this book can be found online, however I think it's a nicely bound book, contains nice glossy pictures, and conveys most of the info in a straightforward manner. It is physically a large book with 689 pages, softcover. I think this is a great book for new growers, however it reads like a textbook and you will kinda have to study it and mark relevant information to your situation. All the fundamentals are here, though fertilization gets confusing just like it does in all books it seems. Nothing really substitutes experience in this case unfortunately. Take some of the controversial info with a grain of salt (24/0 vs 18/6 lighting) and learn your own way of doing things, but this book is a great resource.I recommend this book for those interested in how this stuff works and for those wanting to actually do it themselves. I wasn't disappointed at all, the book looks nice on my bookshelf and contains lots of useful info.

K of Trichome Technologies Gardening & Landscape Design K has really done a fantastic job with this book!! There are many books on this subject that are available but alot of them are cluttered with outdated information or practices that are not used anymore. This book covers the basics of plant biology and botany without loosing sight of how to use that information for your success. For the novice grower to the more commercial style grower, this book covers the no B.S. way to succeed. This is labeled "fundamentals" and it provides exactly that, providing fundamental knowledge and practice from his years of experience and dedication to cannabis. Following these fundamentals will ensure you a successful crop I can assure as I have read many others and this is by far the best written book on this subject yet. A must have for any serious or novice grower, or anyone who wants to educate themselves on this side of the industry without actually having to cultivate. You will not be disappointed!!!

K of Trichome Technologies Gardening & Landscape Design This is a wonderful book for beginner or experienced growers. I enjoy that it goes over things scientifically and it tell you WHY you are doing the things you need to do. I first bought Jorge Cervantes book and wasn't as happy with the information I was getting. It was more of a definitions book and didn't really tell you how or why you did the things you were suppose to do in the different stages of the plant. Isn't that what these books are suppose to go over? In this book K comments saying "in the next book" and mentions it focusing on commercial grows. Can't wait for that one to come out! Very happy with my purchase, would recommend to anyone else searching for the information to start growing their medicine.

Pawfly Air Pump Accessories Works well in the hydroponic system. Evenly distributes bubbles to prevent the roots from rotting. All of them arrived in good shape and worked. I have been using them for a couple months and have not had any issues.
