Howard M. Resh Gardening & Landscape Design This is by far the most definitive work I've read on the subject. A co-worker of mine recommended this as the "Bible" of hydroponics and he was absolutely right.It looks like a textbook right down to the ugly cyan/green cover, but it doesn't matter how a book looks if it's got it where it counts. Whether you're a hobbyist or a commercial hydroponics grower, this book is something you'll have wished you'd read.
Best Howard M. Resh Gardening & Landscape Design Very technical and in depth review of hydroponic gardening and techniques. Probably a bit more information than the average hobbiest needs but packed full of good information. More designed for the large scale operation but the same techniques apply.
Howard M. Resh Gardening & Landscape Design This is as far away from a basic hydroponics book as it gets. It has all the information you could ever ask for but in an extremely academically oriented presentation methodology. If your just looking to get into hydroponics avoid this book like the plague as it makes it seem completely overly complicated. Like I said, just great book if your a graduate chemistry student looking to grow plants, terrible for everyone else. As an example, imagine having to know how a nuclear power plant works in order to use your hair dryer.
